... Or the untimely end of Firefly for that matter. I've been watching it studiously since my friend lent it to me. Very aggravating. If I had more of an attention span, I'd be watching the movie, Serenity. And since I don't have much of an attention span, I'll make this short and sweet. I just barely typed up this (loose) poem:
Inside, an explosion expounds out,
The fiery mass mere testimonial,
Some thing alive, never breathing,
See all, hear nothing, imbedded again.
Your mind, a vault of tumult,
Merely crack the code, the tumblers.
Let loose the paintings run brown,
Masterpieces in their own right.
Man blind, reach out, clutch soul.
Free your grasp of that doubt,
It holds your hand, too fast to grab,
Feel truth keen against your knuckles.
Outside the wind cries for you, dies
As I die, slumping to the ground.
Self-defense, -delusion. Snuff the green.
Siege the walls, throw chaos in.
My sigh, the utterance of freedom.
Shall I kiss you with thanks?
Let nothing more pass between us,
Nothing else needs to get through.
I ride, my fortress of solitude.
Hope you enjoyed it and didn't find it too emo. If you're reading this around the same time as my Facebook status that coincides with this post (vaguely), you might get it better. Basically, I just had to write something.
I'm going to go ahead and try to get some sleep. Ta-ta!
