I would ask a small thing:
Is your lardor filled with sweet things?
Things which inspire excellence?
Things which youthen you?
Have you stored up a great storage?
Do you have that which fills?
That which grows? That which heals?
That whispers warmth to your mind?
Whether yes or whether no,
Another question: With whom
Do you share? Is there one
You bless with your vast stock?
Grant to him what you have.
Let him feel warmth, growth.
Speak to him in whispers.
Amplify his talents, his soul.
And should he be the ideal,
Never again will you want for more.
And another!
Tip-tap, thus falls that
That which I called my shield
Turmoil flares, drop of a hat
In this we dare not yield.
Where, then, our azulean courage?
The boiling inside now
Boils on, never disparaged;
And this was our vow.
Unsheathe unholy fury!
If your determination fails
Never the end hurry,
End not without your grails.
Toll the bells, the ring of steel!
The battle wages on, incessant peal,
Brave face now, let naught daunt;
Fail now, only death to flaunt.
What we've left, we'll destroy to protect,
And with any fortune, our own end deflect.
Unleash untold anger!
Rage against what threatens
What you love, left behind.
Ahead, your unlearned lessons.
Howl, and let out your errors.
You left to fight, and lost
Your loves, eaten by terrors,
Your life now tempest-tossed.
Unpack undisturbed sorrow.
If you fight alone, die alone,
You abandon all.
Turn to another, or turn to stone.
Hope they were enjoyable! G'night everyone!
Good, good. (see? two o's)
ReplyDeleteWow those are very good; though I have to say, I personally feel the second is far superior. The imagery in it is very strong and well worded. I'm impressed.
